New York Giants 37 Dallas Cowboys 34 - as it happened!

ARLINGTON, Texas - It could have been disastrous. And Ahmad Bradshaw was happy that it was not the case.

In the biggest game of the Giants season, Bradshaw, most dangerous racer on the team, was stuck on the sidelines for the first half. Bradshaw had violated team rules, and as punishment, he sat down on the first half of Sunday's 37-34 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at Cowboys Stadium.

"Sometimes," he said. "All I can do is come in the second half, play my game, help as much as I could. I just wanted to use my enthusiasm and talents and help the team win."

Bradshaw has admitted violating team rules. It was according that he had violated the team curfew, although neither Bradshaw nor Tom Coughlin would confirm this.

"Strictly in the house," said Coughlin. "Violation of team rules. That's all I'll say."

Bradshaw added that later, he apologized to the team.

It noticed the 4th time in the age of Coughlin that he had a bench player for disciplinary reasons. Corner bench coach Aaron Ross for the 1st one-half of a victory o'er the Jets in 2007 for violating the curfew. He also bench Plaxico Burress wideout twice - past in 2005 and past in 2008. Both benching Burress' lasted for the first quarter only.

This time it was Bradshaw. Just one game after making a return dynamically and almost sparking the Giants to a victory over the Packers, he could do nothing but watch the margin.

Third string tailback DJ Ware started the game for the Giants, touching the ball on the first two plays. Brandon Jacobs could shoulder the load for the rest of the half. The Cowboys running back to corner Mike Jenkins was called a "tyrant" mid-term last week, ran like one possessed, the roar of the first half 62 yards and a TD early on his way to a season best 101 yards and two scores.

"He was a beast," Bradshaw said after his companion had bailed backfield. "He ran hard today. And you know what I can do is give him my enthusiasm and he took it and ran with it. "

Bradshaw has started the second half, and he hoped to provide instant energy.

"When I came into the game we were down, 15-17," he said. "All I can do is using my talents to help us come back and win."

But Bradshaw out-of-sync struggled to run with his typical break. He hurried for single twelve yards on 8 races, although he was satisfied because the Giants escaped with the victory.

"I did what I had to do," he said.
